5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Mu’awiyah ibn ‘Ammar from al-Harith ibn al-Mughirah from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah would plea for protection seventy times everyday and turn to Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, seventy times everyday.’ I (the narrator) then asked, ‘Would he say, I plea for protection (forgiveness) from Allah and turn to Him?’ The Imam said, ‘He would say, “I plea for protection (forgiveness) from Allah, I plea for protection from Allah,” seventy times. And would say, ‘I return to Allah, I return to Allah,’ seventy times.’”
IsnādAli ibn Ibrahim a rapporté de son père, de Ibn Abi Umeyr, de Muawiya ibn Ammar, de Al-Harith ibn Al-Mughira, de Abi Abdullah (que la paix soit sur lui) qui a dit :
Le Messager d'Allah (que la prière d'Allah et Son salut soient sur lui) demandait pardon à Allah, le Puissant et Majestueux, soixante-dix fois par jour et se repentait à Allah, le Puissant et Majestueux, soixante-dix fois par jour. J'ai dit : Il disait "Je demande pardon à Allah et je me repens à Lui". Il a dit : Il disait "Je demande pardon à Allah, je demande pardon à Allah" soixante-dix fois et il disait "Et je me repens à Allah, et je me repens à Allah" soixante-dix fois.
