Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Harun ibn Muslim from Mas’adah ibn Sadaqa from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali ibn abu Talib (a.s.) has said, ‘Beware of disputations and quarrels; they create ill feelings toward the brothers (in belief) and upon these two hypocrisy grows.’”

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and Muhammad ibn Isma’il from Fadl ibn Shadhan all from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Ibrahim ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid from Walid ibn Sabih who has said the following: “I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘The Messenger of Allah has said, “Jibril (Gabriel) never cautioned me so emphatically about anything as he did about opposition to men.’”
