2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz from Zurarah who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘Mourning ceremony is organized for a deceased for three days, beginning from the day of his death.’”

3. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ahmad ibn Ishaq from Sa‘dan from abu Basir who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that neighbors of the people of a deceased should prepare food for them (people of the deceased) for three days.”

Il convient aux voisins de la personne éprouvée de préparer de la nourriture pour lui pendant trois jours.

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz or others who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, said in his will that eight hundred dirhams should be spent to organize a memorial service for his death. He considered it as part of the tradition; the Messenger of Allah had said, ‘Prepare food for the family of Ja‘far; they are preoccupied (with the death of Ja‘far).’”

`Alī ibn Ibrāhīm rapporte de son père, de Ḥammād ibn 'Īsā, de Ḥarīz (ou un autre) qui a dit: Abū Ja'far (que la paix soit sur lui) a recommandé huit cents dirhams pour son maṣṭabān, et il considérait cela comme une pratique recommandée, car le Messager de Dieu (que la prière de Dieu et Sa paix soient sur lui et sa famille) a dit: "Fournissez de la nourriture à la famille de Ja'far, car ils sont occupés."

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from ‘Abd Allah al-Kahiliy who has said the following: “Once I said to abu al-Hassan, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, ‘My wife and the wife of ibn Marid went to join a memorial service, and I tried to stop them but my wife said, “If it is unlawful then stop us so we desist, but if it is not unlawful then why should you stop us? If one of us will die no one will come to us.”’ Abu al-Hassan, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, then said, ‘You are asking about rights. My father would send my mother and mother of Farwah to meet the terms of the rights of the people of al-Madinah.’”

J'ai dit à Abi al-Hasan (que la paix soit sur lui) : "Ma femme et la femme d'Ibn Marid sortent au mausolée, je les en empêche, alors ma femme me dit : Si c'est interdit, nous nous en abstiendrons, mais s'il n'est pas interdit, pourquoi nous en empêcher ? Et si l'un de nous meurt, nous aurons un mort et personne ne viendra nous voir." Abi al-Hasan (que la paix soit sur lui) a répondu : "Tu me questionnes sur les droits. Mon père (que la paix soit sur lui) envoyait ma mère et Umm Farwa pour régler les droits des habitants de Médine."

6. Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Kufiy has narrated from ibn Jumhur from his father from Muhammad ibn Sinan from al-Mufaddal ibn ‘Umar who has said the following: “He has also said that al-Asamm has narrated to us from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim from abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, who has said the following: ‘’Amir al-Mu’minin, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, “Instruct your families to speak good words when someone among you dies. When father of Fatimah, ‘Alayha al-Salam, died, daughters of children of Hashim supported her and she said to them, ‘Ignore eulogies but you must pray (to Allah).”””

Ordonnez à vos proches de dire des paroles bonnes au moment de votre mort, car lorsque Fatima (que la paix soit sur elle) perdit son père (que la paix soit sur lui), les filles de Hashim la réconfortèrent en lui disant: Laisse de côté le décompte et concentre-toi sur la prière.
