3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad through the chain of his narrators has said the following: “’Amir al-Mu’minin, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘The worst well in the fire is the well of Barahut in which the souls (spirits) of unbelievers live.’”

L'Imam Ali (que la paix soit sur lui) a dit : "Le puits le plus mauvais de l'enfer est celui appelé Barahut, où se trouvent les âmes des mécréants."

4. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad and Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father all from Ja‘far ibn Muhammad al-Ash’ariy from al-Qaddah who has narrated the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah from his ancestors, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has narrated that ’Amir al-Mu’minin, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘The worst water on earth is the water of Barahut which is in Hadramawt where the souls (spirits) of unbelievers camp.’”

"La pire eau sur terre est l'eau de Barahut, qui se trouve à Hadhramaut et que les mécréants utilisent."

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that the Messenger of Allah has said, ‘The worst ones among Jews are the Jews of Baysan, the worst ones among Christians are the Christians of Najran. The best water on earth is the water of Zamzam and the worst water on earth is the water of Barahut and it is in the valley of Hadramawt where the souls and spirits of unbelievers camp.’”

Le Messager d'Allah (que la paix soit sur lui et sur sa famille) a dit : "Les pires des Juifs sont les Juifs de Bayt al-Maqdis, et les pires des Chrétiens sont les Chrétiens de Najran. Et la meilleure eau sur terre est l'eau de Zamzam, et la pire eau sur terre est l'eau de Barahut, qui est une vallée à Hadramawt où arrivent les flots des mécréants et de leurs échos."
