2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from certain persons of his people from abu Hamzah who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘Allah, Most Holy, Most blessed, says, “Any servant whom I test by an affliction and who does not complain about it before any of his visitors, I most certainly change his flesh into a better flesh and his blood into a better blood. If, however, I take him (away) from this life, I take him into My mercy but if he lives he lives free of sin.’””

Allah, le Très-Haut, a dit : "Aucun de Mes serviteurs sur lequel J'ai imposé une épreuve sans qu'il ne se tourne vers Mes ennemis, que Je ne le remplace par une chair meilleure que la sienne et un sang meilleur que le sien. S'il Meurt, Je le prends dans Ma miséricorde, et s'il vit, il n'a pas de péché."

3. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Amir from Ali ibn Mahziyar from al-Hassan ibn Fadl from Ghalib ibn ‘Uthman from Bashir al-Dahhan who has said the following: “This a narration of abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam. He (the Imam) has said that Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious, says, ‘Any one of my servants whom I put to test with an affliction and who does not complain about it before any of his visitors for three days, I change his flesh into a better flesh. I change his blood into a better blood and his skin into a better skin. If I keep him living he does so free from sin and if he dies he does so in My mercy.’”

Allah, le Très-Haut, a dit : "Quiconque de Mes serviteurs Je mets à l'épreuve par une calamité et qu'il la dissimule à ses proches à trois reprises, Je le remplacerai par une chair meilleure que la sienne, un sang meilleur que le sien et une apparence meilleure que la sienne. S'il la supporte, Je la lui accorderai et il n'aura aucun péché. S'il meurt, il mourra dans Ma miséricorde."

4. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Kindiy from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy from a man who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that if one becomes ill in a night and accepts it in the way it has come, Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious, on the other hand, writes down for him the reward for sixty years of worship. I (the narrator) then asked, ‘What is the meaning of “accepts it?”’ The Imam said, ‘He does not complain before any of his visitors against his illness.’”

Celui qui tombe malade une nuit et l'accepte avec satisfaction, Allah le Très-Haut lui inscrit une adoration équivalente à soixante ans. J'ai demandé : "Qu'est-ce que signifie l'accepter avec satisfaction ?" Il a répondu : "Ne se plaindre à personne de ce qu'il endure cette nuit-là."

A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from al-‘Arzamiy from his father who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that if a person becomes ill in a night, welcomes the night with whatever it has brought and gives thanks to Allah for that, it will be equal in reward to sixty years of worshipping.’

a rapporté : "Celui qui se plaint d'une nuit et l'accepte tel qu'elle est, et rend grâce à Allah pour celle-ci, cela équivaut à soixante ans d'adoration." Mon père lui demanda : "Qu'entendez-vous par l'accepter ?" Il répondit : "Supporter ce qui s'y passe sans le divulguer, et au matin, louer Allah pour ce qui s'est passé."

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Umayr from certain persons of his people who have said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘If one becomes ill for three days and does not inform anyone about it, Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious, changes his flesh into a better flesh, his blood into a better blood, his skin into a better skin and his hair into better hair.’ I then asked, ’May Allah keep my soul in the service of your cause, how does He do it?’ He said, ‘He changes it into flesh, blood, hair and skin which has not committed any sin.”’

Celui qui tombe malade pendant trois jours, et le dissimule sans en informer personne, Allah, le Très Haut, lui substituera une chair meilleure que sa chair, un sang meilleur que son sang, une peau meilleure que sa peau, et des cheveux meilleurs que ses cheveux. J'ai demandé : "Que Dieu me sacrifie pour vous ! Comment les substituera-t-Il ?" Il a répondu : "Il les substituera par une chair, un sang, une peau et des cheveux dans lesquels il n'y a pas de péché."
