Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sa‘id al-A’raj who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about a man who comes to Salah (prayer) and does not find a place in the rows. Can he stand up alone until Salah (prayer) is complete? He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, it is not an offense to stand parallel to the Imam.’”

Il n'y a pas de mal à ce qu'il se tienne à côté de l'Imam.

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Zurarah who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘If a people perform Salah (prayer) and there is a space between them and the Imam, which cannot be covered by one step, that Imam is not their Imam. Any row which performs Salah (prayer) following an Imam and the space between this and the row in front is more than can be covered by one step it is not of that (row). If there is a barrier or wall in between, it is not a Salah (prayer) for them unless one is in front of a door.’ He (the narrator) has said that he (the Imam) said, ‘These arches did not exist in the time of anyone. The tyrants have invented them. Salah (prayer) of those who perform behind them, following those who perform inside is not valid Salah (prayer).’ Abu Ja‘far, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘The rows must be complete, connected with each other and there must be a space of one step between two rows. The space must be of the length of human body that falls (when in Sajdah (prostration)).”’

Il a dit : "Si un groupe prie et qu'entre eux et l'Imam il y a une distance qui ne doit pas être dépassée, alors cet Imam n'est pas leur véritable Imam. Peu importe la rangée dans laquelle ils prient derrière un Imam, et qu'entre eux et la rangée qui les précède il y a une distance qui ne doit pas être dépassée, alors cela ne leur est pas permis. Mais s'il y a un rideau ou un mur entre eux, alors cela ne compte pas comme une prière pour eux, sauf pour ceux qui se trouvent près de la porte. Il a dit : "Ces négligences n'étaient pas présentes à l'époque de quiconque parmi les gens, mais ont été introduites par les oppresseurs, et elles ne sont pas valables pour celui qui prie derrière eux en prenant pour modèle la prière de ceux qui les pratiquent." Il a dit : "Il convient que les rangées soient complètes et reliées les unes aux autres, sans qu'il y ait entre deux rangées une distance qui ne doit pas être dépassée, équivalente à la chute d'un corps humain."

5. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Aban from ‘Abd al- Rahman ibn abu ‘Abd Allah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘When you enter a Masjid and the Imam is in Ruku‘ (bowing down on one’s knees) and you think that if you walked all the way to join, he raises his head before you join. Say Takbir (Allah is great beyond description) perform Ruku‘, and if he raised his head, perform Sajdah (prostration) where you are, and if he stood up, join the row, and if he sits down sit down in your place, and when he stands up, join the row.’”

Quand tu entres dans la mosquée et que l'Imam est en prosternation, si tu penses qu'en t'approchant de lui il lèvera la tête avant que tu ne l'atteignes, alors dis "Allahu Akbar", fais la prosternation et quand il relève la tête, reste à ta place en prosternation. S'il se lève, rejoins le rang, et s'il s'assoit, reste à ta place assis. Puis, quand il se lève, rejoins le rang.

6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “Abu ’Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘I do not see any problem in the rows between the pillars.”

Je ne vois pas de mal dans les rangs entre les piliers.

7. Ahmad ibn Idris and others have narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan ibn Ali from ‘Amr ibn Sa‘id from Musaddiq ibn Sadaqah from ‘Ammar al-Sabatiy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about a man who finds the Imam in sitting position saying Tashahhud (testimonies of belief) and there is no one behind him except one man on his right side. He (the Imam) said, ‘He does not go ahead of the Imam or behind the man, but sits down behind the Imam; and when the Imam says Salam (the phrase of offering greeting of peace), the man stands up and completes his Salah (prayer).”

J'ai demandé à Abu Abdullah (que la paix soit sur lui) au sujet d'un homme qui rejoint l'imam alors qu'il est assis et en train de réciter le Tashahhud, et qu'il n'y a personne derrière lui sauf un seul homme à sa droite. Il a dit : "L'imam ne doit pas avancer ni retarder, mais celui qui entre avec lui doit s'asseoir derrière l'imam. Quand l'imam fait le Salam, l'homme se lève et complète sa prière."

8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim in a marfu‘ manner who has said the following: “I once saw abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, performing Salah (prayer) while standing in a corner of his house near the wall, all others on his right side and no one on his left.”

J'ai vu Abu Abdullah (que la paix soit sur lui) prier parmi un groupe, alors qu'il était dans un coin de sa maison, se rapprochant du mur, et tous étaient à sa droite, et il n'y avait personne à sa gauche.

9. Ahmad ibn Idris and others have narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan from Ali from ‘Amr ibn Sa‘id from Musaddiq ibn Sadaqah from ‘Ammar al-Sabatiy who has said the following: “I once asked him (the Imam), ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about a man who performs Salah (prayer) with a people who are in a place lower than his place in which he performs Salah (prayer). He (the Imam) said, ‘If the Imam is in a place which is higher than their place like a raised place, a platform, their Salah (prayer) is not permissible. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful if he is higher by one shibr (8 inches). Or it is more or less in a gully if the land is stretched, or there is a raised place, the Imam stands on a higher place, those behind him in a lower place and the land is extended, except that they are on a sloping place. 5 He (the narrator) has said that he (the Imam) was asked, ‘What happens if the Imam stands below the place where people behind him stand? 5 He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful. 5 He (the Imam) said, ‘If a man is on the roof or so and the Imam is on a place below, it is permissible for one to perform Salah (prayer) behind him to follow his Salah (prayer) even if it is very high. 5”

10. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad who has the following: Al-Husayn has mentioned that he (the Imam), ’Alayhi al-Salam, commanded a man, who was asking him (the Imam) about a man who was performing Salah (prayer) on the side of a man standing on his left. He did not know (that he is to stand on the right side of the Imam) and then he learned in his Salah (prayer) how he is to do. He (the Imam) commanded to turn him to his right.”

Al-Husayn a mentionné qu'il a ordonné à celui à qui on demande au sujet d'un homme qui prie à côté d'un autre et se lève de sa gauche sans savoir, puis il apprend, alors qu'il est en prière, comment agir, de le détourner de sa droite.
