1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn abu Nasr from Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that our slogan on the day Badr was, ‘O victory of Allah, come close! come close!’ The slogan of Muslims on the day of ‘Uhud was, £ 0 victory of Allah, come close! ’ On the day of banu al-Nadir it was, ‘O Holy Spirit, bring comfort! ’ On the day of banu Qaynaqa‘ it was, ‘O our Lord, no one is able to defeat You!’ On the day of Taef it was, ‘O Ridwan! (name of a certain angel)’ Our slogan on the day of Hunayn was, ‘O banu ‘ Abd Allah! O banu ‘Abd Allah! ’ On the day of al-Ahzab it was, ‘Ha Mim, They cannot see! ’ On the day of banu Quraydah it was, ‘O Peace Giver, make them surrender!’ On the day of al-Muraysi‘ which is also called the day of banu al-Mustliq it was, ‘Is the matter not in the hands of Allah! ’ On the day of al-Hudaybiyah it was, ‘May Allah condemn the unjust!’ On the day of al-Khaybar, also called the day of al-Qamus it was, ‘O Ali, come upon them from on high! ’ On the day of victory it was, ‘We are the servants of Allah, indeed, indeed!’ On the day of Tabuk it was, ‘O the One! O self-sufficient!’ On the day of banu al- Maluh it was, ‘Higher, higher!’ On the day of Siffin it was, ‘O Assistance of Allah!’ The slogan of al- Husayn, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, was, ‘O Muhammad!’ Our slogan is, ‘O Muhammad!”’
Isnādعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام)
قَالَ شِعَارُنَا يَا مُحَمَّدُ يَا مُحَمَّدُ وَشِعَارُنَا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ يَا نَصْرَ اللهِ اقْتَرِبْ اقْتَرِبْ وَشِعَارُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ يَا نَصْرَ اللهِ اقْتَرِبْ وَيَوْمَ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ يَا رُوحَ الْقُدُسِ أَرِحْ وَيَوْمَ بَنِي قَيْنُقَاعَ يَا رَبَّنَا لا يَغْلِبَنَّكَ وَيَوْمَ الطَّائِفِ يَا رِضْوَانُ وَشِعَارُ يَوْمِ حُنَيْنٍ يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ اللهِ [يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ اللهِ] وَيَوْمِ الأحْزَابِ حم لا يُبْصِرُونَ وَيَوْمِ بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ يَا سَلامُ أَسْلِمْهُمْ وَيَوْمِ الْمُرَيْسِيعِ وَهُوَ يَوْمُ بَنِي الْمُصْطَلِقِ أَلا إِلَى اللهِ الأمْرُ وَيَوْمِ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ أَلا لَعْنَةُ اللهِ عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ وَيَوْمِ خَيْبَرَ يَوْمِ الْقَمُوصِ يَا عَلِيُّ آتِهِمْ مِنْ عَلُ وَيَوْمِ الْفَتْحِ نَحْنُ عِبَادُ اللهِ حَقّاً حَقّاً وَيَوْمِ تَبُوكَ يَا أَحَدُ يَا صَمَدُ وَيَوْمِ بَنِي الْمَلُوحِ أَمِتْ أَمِتْ وَيَوْمِ صِفِّينَ يَا نَصْرَ اللهِ وَشِعَارُ الْحُسَيْنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَا مُحَمَّدُ وَشِعَارُنَا يَا مُحَمَّدُ.
2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from certain persons of his people from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that certain people from Muzaynah came to the Holy Prophet. He asked, ‘What is your slogan?’ They replied it is ‘unlawful’. He said, ‘No, it is ‘lawful’.”

Des gens de Muzaynah se présentèrent au Prophète (que la prière d'Allah et Son salut soient sur lui et sa famille). Il leur demanda : "Quel est votre signe distinctif ?" Ils répondirent : "Il est interdit." Il dit : "Au contraire, votre signe distinctif est licite." Il est également rapporté que le signe distinctif des musulmans le jour de Badr était "Yā Mansūr, amit" et le signe distinctif le jour de Uhud pour les émigrés était "Yā Banī 'Abdillāh, Yā Banī 'Abd ar-Raḥmān" et pour les Aws était "Yā Banī 'Abdillāh."
3. It also is narrated that the slogan of the Muslims on the day of Badr was, ‘O Victorious, Higher!’ The slogan of al-Muhajirun on the day of ‘Uhud was, ‘O banu ‘Abd Allah, (you must strive) O banu ‘Abd al-Rahman!’ The slogan of al-Aws was, ‘O banu ‘Abd Allah!”’
