Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Ishaq ibn Jarir who has said the following: “A woman asked me to ask abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, for permission to visit him (the Imam). Permission was given and she came with her slave-girl and asked, ‘O abu ‘Abd Allah, what is the meaning of the word of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, “. . . the olive tree which is not eastern or western.’” (24:35) He (the Imam) said, ‘Allah does not give parables of the tree. He only gives parables about the children of Adam. Ask what you want.’ She asked, ‘Tell me about women with women and what the penalty is for it?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Its penalty is like that for fornication and on the Day of Judgment they will be brought with dresses of fire which cause laceration, veiled with veils of fire, and loin cloths of fire. Posts of fire will be inserted inside them up to their heads and they will be thrown in the fire. You must take notice that the first ones who engage in such act were people of Lot. Men became satisfied with men and women were left without men, so they did as their men did.’”

Muhammad ibn Yahya a rapporté d'Ahmad ibn Muhammad, d'Ali ibn al-Hakam, d'Ishaq ibn Jarir, qui a dit : Une femme m'a demandé la permission d'entrer chez Abi Abdillah (sur lui la paix), et il lui a donné la permission. Il a répondu : "Ô femme, Allah n'a pas donné des exemples pour les arbres, Il a donné des exemples pour les fils d'Adam, sois satisfaite de ce que tu veux." Elle a demandé : "Informez-moi sur les femmes qui sont avec les femmes, quelle est leur limite ?" Il a dit : "La limite est l'adultère. Le jour de la Résurrection, elles seront amenées vêtues de morceaux de feu, chaussées de sandales de feu, leurs têtes seront couvertes de voiles de feu, et elles seront introduites dans leurs parties intimes des colonnes de feu, et on les jettera dans le feu." Ô femme, les premiers à avoir commis cet acte étaient le peuple de Lot. Les hommes ont cherché satisfaction auprès des hommes, alors les femmes sont restées sans hommes et elles ont fait comme leurs hommes ont fait.

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Amr ibn ‘Uthman from Yazid al-Nakha’iy from Bashir al-Nabbal who has said the following: “I saw a man with abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, who said, ‘I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause, what do you say about women with women (lesbianism)?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘I will not tell you anything about it until you take an oath to narrate, what I tell you, to women.’ He (the narrator) has said that he took an oath and he (the Imam) said, ‘They both will be in the fire and on them there will be seventy thousand dresses of fire and on every dress there will be a thick dry skin of fire. On them there will be two belts of fire and two crowns of fire over the dresses and two pairs of shoes of fire and they will be in the fire.’”

It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from his father from Ali ibn al-Qasim from Ja’far ibn Muhammad from al- Husayn ibn Ziyad from Ya’qub ibn Ja’far who has said the following: “Once, a man asked abu ‘Abd Allah, or abu Ibrahim, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, about women who practice women homosexuality (lesbianism). He (the Imam) was leaning, he sat straight and said, ‘They are condemned, the one on her as well underneath her until she moves out of her clothes, the rider as well as the one being rode. Allah, most Blessed, most High, the angels and those who possess divine authority condemned them, as well as I and all remaining in the backs of men and wombs of women condemned them. It by Allah is greater fornication. No, by Allah there is no repentance for them. May Allah destroy Laqis, daughter of Satan who brought it.’ The man said that it has come from people of Iraq. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, by Allah, it was in the time of the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, before Iraq was there and about them the Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Allah has condemned transvestites (men who pretend to be like women and women who pretend to be like men).’”

De lui, de son père, d'Ali ibn al-Qasim, de Ja'far ibn Muhammad, de al-Husayn ibn Ziyad, de Ya'qub ibn Ja'far, qui a dit : Un homme demanda à Abu 'Abdillah ou à Abu Ibrahim (sur lui la paix) au sujet d'une femme qui monte sur une autre femme alors qu'elle est allongée. Il s'assit et dit : Maudites soient celle qui monte et celle sur qui on monte. Maudites soient-elles jusqu'à ce que leurs vêtements soient relevés. Car en vérité, Allah, exalté et glorifié soit-Il, ainsi que les anges et Ses alliés les maudissent. Et moi, ainsi que quiconque reste parmi les hommes et les femmes, c'est certes le grand adultère. Par Allah, elles n'ont pas de repentir. Que Dieu maudisse Louqays, la fille d'Iblis, qu'est-ce qu'elle a apporté ? L'homme dit : C'est ce que les gens d'Irak ont apporté. Il dit : Par Allah, c'était déjà ainsi du temps du Messager d'Allah (que la paix soit sur lui et sa famille) avant même qu'Irak ne soit. Et dans ce temps-là, le Messager d'Allah (que la paix soit sur lui et sa famille) a maudit les femmes qui imitent les hommes et les hommes qui imitent les femmes.
