1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from ‘Ammar who has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that ‘Amir al-Mu’minin, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, would keep in custody a procrastinating debtor; then command to distribute his assets among his creditors proportionate to their shares, and if he (the debtor) disagreed, he (the Imam) sold his assets, then distributed it among his creditors.’”

L'Imam Ali (que la paix soit sur lui) retenait un homme s'il était endetté, puis ordonnait de partager ses biens entre ses créanciers selon des parts équitables. S'il refusait de vendre ses biens, il ordonnait alors de les partager, c'est-à-dire sa richesse.
