1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah ibn Mehran who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about men’s shaking hands with women. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is lawful for men to shake hands with women with whom marriage is not lawful, like sister, daughter, paternal and maternal aunts, daughter of sister or so. However, a woman with whom marriage is lawful shaking hands is unlawful, except from behind the cloth but he must not squeeze her palm.’”
IsnādUn groupe de nos compagnons de la part d'Ahmad ibn Muhammad, d'Uthman ibn Isa, de Sama'a ibn Mihran, a dit: J'ai interrogé Abu Abdullah (sur lui la paix) au sujet de la poignée de main entre un homme et une femme. Il a dit: Il n'est pas permis à un homme de serrer la main d'une femme, sauf s'il s'agit d'une femme qui lui est interdite en mariage, comme une sœur, une fille, une tante, une belle-tante, une nièce, ou similaire. Quant à une femme qu'il est permis d'épouser, il ne doit pas lui serrer la main sauf à travers un voile, et il ne doit pas lui toucher la paume de la main.
