3. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hajj aj from Ali ibn Ja‘far ibn Ishaq al-Hashimiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘Wine is made of five substances: it is made from grape juice, extracts of raisins, al-Bit ’ (mead) from honey, al-Mizru (beer) from barley and wine from dates.’”

IsnādMuhammad ibn Yahya a rapporté de Muhammad ibn Ahmad, de Ibn Abi Najran, de Safwan al-Jammal, d'Aamir ibn Asimti, d'Ali ibn al-Hussein (que la paix soit sur lui), de son semblable.
