1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the divorce of a drunken man. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not permissible and it is not an honorable thing.”’

He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not permissible as well as his setting free of slaves.’”
