1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Khalid from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Muhammad ibn ‘ Ajlan who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘The host must begin wudu so that no one feels shy. After eating food the person on the right of the host begins it, regardless of being a free or a slave . 5 He (the narrator) has said that in another Hadith it says, ‘The first before food and the last after food to wash should be the owner of the house, because he can remain patient with food stains. 5 ”

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Khalid from Khalaf ibn Hammad from ‘Amr ibn Thabit who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘Wash your hands in one utensil; it is good for the betterment of your moral behavior . 555

Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Fadl ibn al-Mubarak from al-Fadl ibn Yunus who has said the following: “When abu al-Hassan, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, had lunch and the hand-basin was brought, he (the Imam) was the first to wash his hand while he (the Imam) was sitting in the middle of the assembly room, and he (the Imam) said, ‘Begin with one who is on your right side . 5 When one made wudu the servant wanted to remove the hand-basin, but abu al-Hassan, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, said to him, ‘Leave it so that you can wash your hands in it . 555
