1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Musa in a marfu‘ manner has said, the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, sawiq of lintels calms down thirst, makes the stomach strong and there is cure for seventy illnesses in it. It abolishes yellowish fluid and gives coolness to the stomach. He (the Imam) would not travel without it. He (the Imam) said that when blood becomes excited with any of one’s associates, he (the Imam) said, ‘Drink sawiq of lintels because it calms down the excitement of blood and extinguishes the heat.’”*
