3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz who has said the following: “Once abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, was asked about the prey which his owner finds the next day; if he can use it for food. He (the Imam) said, ‘If he knows that it is the prey which he had killed, he can use it for food if he had mentioned the name of Allah.’”

Abu 'Abdillah (que la paix soit sur lui) a été interrogé au sujet d'un animal blessé par une flèche, que son propriétaire retrouve le lendemain. Est-il permis de le consommer ? Il a répondu : S'il sait que c'est sa flèche qui l'a tué, alors qu'il en mange, s'il l'a nommée.

4. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Khalid from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah who has said the following: “I once asked him (the Imam), ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the case of a man who shoots a wild donkey or a deer which is shot and he searches for it but finds it the next day with his arrow in it. He (the Imam) said, ‘If he knows that his shot had hit it and the arrow is his arrow which has killed it, he then can use it for food, otherwise, he cannot use it for food.’”

Si une personne blesse un animal sauvage avec une flèche et retrouve l'animal le lendemain avec sa flèche en lui, il lui est permis de consommer la viande de cet animal s'il est certain que c'est sa flèche qui l'a tué. Sinon, il ne doit pas en consommer.

5. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Isa al- Qummiy who has said the following: “I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, ‘I shoot my arrow but I am not certain if I mentioned the name of Allah or not.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘You can use it for food and it is not unlawful.’ I then asked, ‘What happens if I shoot and the prey disappears, then I find it with my arrow in it. He (the Imam) said, ‘You can use for food if it is not eaten yet, but if something has eaten thereof then do not use it for food.’”

J'ai demandé à Abu Abdullah (que la paix soit sur lui) : "Je lance ma flèche et je ne sais pas si j'ai prononcé le nom d'Allah ou non." Il a répondu : "Dis 'La' (non) et il n'y a pas de mal." J'ai dit : "Je lance la flèche et elle disparaît de ma vue, puis je la retrouve avec une partie manquante." Il a dit : "Tant qu'aucune bête n'en a mangé, même si une partie en a été mangée, ne mange pas de cette partie."

6. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar and Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from all from Safwan from ibn Muskan from al-Fialabiy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about a prey that a man hits with a sword or with a spear or shoots with an arrow and kills, and he has mentioned the name of Allah when shooting. He (the Imam) said, ‘You can use it for food and it is not unlawful.’”

Il n'y a aucun mal en cela.

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd from Hisham ibn Salim from Sulayman ibn Khalid who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about a prey that its owner finds; if he can use it for food. He (the Imam) said, ’If he knows that it is his shot that has killed it, he can use it for food.’”

Si quelqu'un trouve la flèche qui l'a tué, il peut la manger.

8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn abu Najran from ‘Asem ibn Hamid from Muhammad ibn Qays who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin, about a prey that is found dead with an arrow in it and it is not known who has killed it, said, ’Do not use it for food.’”

L'Imam Ali (que la paix soit sur lui) a dit : "Dans une chasse, si l'on trouve une flèche plantée dans un animal mort et qu'on ne sait pas qui l'a tué, ne le mangez pas."

9. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from Muhammad al-Halabiy who has said the following: “I once asked him (the Imam), ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the case of a man who shoots a prey and hits it. People before him come and interrupt him. He (the Imam) said, ‘He can use it for food.”’

10. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan from Musa ibn Bakr from Zurarah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘If you shoot a prey then find it without any other marks except your arrow and you know that nothing other than your arrow has killed it, you can use it for food, regardless, it had disappeared from you or not.’”

Quand tu lances une flèche et que tu la retrouves sans autre trace que celle de ta flèche, et que tu penses que ce n'est pas ta flèche qui l'a tué, alors mange tout ce qui est sorti de ta vue ou qui ne t'a pas échappé.

11. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ibn Mahbub from Hisham ibn Salim from Sama‘ah ibn Mehran who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the case of a man who shoots a prey from the mountain and the arrow pierces through and comes out from the other side. He (the Imam) said, ‘He can use it for food. ‘He (the Imam) said, ‘If it falls in water or rolls down the mountain and dies then do not use it for food.’”

Mange tout sauf s'il tombe dans l'eau ou est déchiqueté par la montagne et meurt, alors ne le mange pas.

12. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from a man in a marfu ‘ manner who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘A prey must not be hit with something bigger than the prey.’” (It is because the cause of death becomes confused with the weight and force of the hunter).
