1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from Tha’labah ibn Maymun from Burayd ibn Mu‘awiyah al-‘Ijliy from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘Whatever is hunted by swords, arrows and spears are lawful to use for food.’ He (the Imam) was asked about the prey, which is assigned to several people in portions before it dies. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful.’”

Chacun des animaux chassés est permis s'il est tué avec une épée, une flèche ou une lance. On lui demanda au sujet d'un animal chassé et capturé, et les gens l'avaient déjà divisé avant sa mort. Il répondit : "Il n'y a pas de mal en cela."
