1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from and Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar all from ibn Faddal from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah from his father who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘Al-Kattan (linen) is of the garment of the Prophets and it helps the flesh to grow,’”
