2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Khalid from Sa‘d ibn Sa‘d from Muhammad ibn al-Qasim ibn al-Fudayl who has narrated the following: “I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about a man who is one of his followers and owes to a Mukhalif (opposing) man a certain amount of loan who wants to cause him difficulties and imprison him. He knows that he does not have anything to pay and he is not able to pay but his creditor has no proof, if it is permissible to swear to keep him away from himself until Allah grants him ease and if it is permissible to testify against him. He (the Imam) said, Tt is not permissible to testify against him when he is not intending to be unjust to him.’”

IsnādMuhammad ibn Yahya, d'Ahmad ibn Muhammad, de Muhammad ibn Khalid, de Sa'd ibn Sa'd, de Muhammad ibn al-Qasim ibn al-Fudayl, d'Abu al-Hasan (sur lui le salut) a dit:

Je lui ai demandé: "Un homme parmi tes partisans a une dette envers un homme avec qui il est en désaccord et qui cherche à la lui rendre difficile et à le retenir, alors qu'il sait qu'il n'a pas la capacité de la rembourser et que son débiteur n'a pas de preuve évidente. Est-il permis pour lui de jurer en sa faveur pour se protéger jusqu'à ce qu'Allah lui facilite les choses, même s'il a des témoins parmi tes partisans qui savent qu'il n'est pas capable? Est-il permis pour eux de témoigner en sa faveur?" Il a répondu: "Il n'est pas permis pour eux de témoigner en sa faveur ni d'intentionnellement lui causer du tort."
