176. A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Hammaad Bin Usmaan, from Zayd Bin Al-Hassan who said: I heard Abu Abdullah (asws) saying: ‘Ali (asws) was the most similar to the Rasool Allah (saww) in the partaking of food and manners. And he (asws) used to eat the bread and the oil whilst (he (asws) would feed) the people with the bread and the meat’. He (asws) said: ‘Ali (asws) used to fetch the water and the firewood, and Fatima (sa) used to grind, and knead, and bake, and stitch. She (asws) was of the most beautiful of face from the people, with cheeks like two roses, may Greetings be upon her (asws), and upon her (asws) father (saww), and her (asws) husband (asws), and her (asws) purified children (asws)’.
IsnādUn certain nombre de nos compagnons ont rapporté de Sahl ibn Ziyad, d'Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Nasr, de Hammad ibn Uthman, de Zayd ibn al-Hasan, qui a dit : J'ai entendu Abu Abdullah (que la paix soit sur lui) dire : Ali (que la paix soit sur lui) ressemblait le plus aux gens dans le goût et le comportement au Messager d'Allah (que la prière d'Allah et Son salut soient sur lui). Il mangeait du pain et de l'huile, et nourrissait les gens de pain et de viande. Il puisait de l'eau et ramassait du bois. Fatima (que la paix soit sur elle) moulait, pétrissait, cuisait et raccommodait, et elle était parmi les meilleures personnes en apparence, ses joues semblaient être roses. Qu'Allah prie sur elle, sur son père, sur son mari et sur ses enfants purs.
