274. Al-Husayn Bin Muhammad Al-Ashary, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abdullah, from Al-Abbas Bin Al-A’ala, from Mujahid, from Ibn Abbas who said: I asked Amir-ul-Momineen (asws) about the creatures’. He (asws) said: ‘Allah (azwj) Created one thousand two hundred (species) in the land, and one thousand two hundred (species) in the sea, and Made seventy species (races) of the Children of Adam (as), and the people are the Children of Adam (as), except for the ‘يَأْجُوجَ وَ مَأْجُوجَ’.

L'Imam Ali (que la paix soit sur lui) a été interrogé sur la création. Il a répondu : "Allah a créé deux cent créatures terrestres et deux cent créatures marines, et les descendants d'Adam sont soixante-dix nations, avec les peuples de Gog et Magog."
