441. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Abdul Rahman Bin Hammaad, from Muhammad Bin Is’haq, from Muhammad Bin Al-Fayz who said, who has narrated the following: I said to Abu Abdullah (asws), ‘When one of us becomes ill, the healers order us to go on a diet’. So he (asws) said: ‘But, the People (asws) of the Household, we (asws) do not stay away except from the dates, and we (asws) cure by the apple and the cold water’. I said, ‘And why do you (asws) keep away from the dates?’ He (asws) said: ‘Because the Prophet (saww) of Allah (azwj) kept Ali (asws) away from it during his (asws) illness’.
IsnādMuhammad ibn Yahya a rapporté d'Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, d'Abd al-Rahman ibn Hammad, de Muhammad ibn Ishaq, de Muhammad ibn al-Fayd, qui a dit: J'ai demandé à Abu Abdullah (que la paix soit sur lui) : "Lorsqu'un malade parmi nous tombe malade, les médecins prescrivent la saignée. Cependant, nous, les membres de la famille, ne nous soignons qu'avec des dattes, et nous nous traitons avec des pommes et de l'eau froide." J'ai dit : "Pourquoi ne vous soignez-vous pas avec des dattes ?" Il a répondu : "Parce que le Prophète d'Allah a interdit à Ali (que la paix soit sur lui) d'en consommer lorsqu'il était malade."
