296. A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Abdullah Bin Al-Salt, from a man from the people of Balkh who said: I was with Al-Ridha (asws) in his (asws) journey to Khurasan. One day he (asws) called for the spread (for a meal) to be set up for him (asws). So there gathered around him (asws) his (asws) black friends and others. So I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for you (asws), if you (asws) could isolate the spread for these people’. So he (asws) said: ‘Muuh! (Shhhh!). The Lord (azwj) Blessed and High is One, and the mother is one, and the father is one, and the Recompense is by the deeds’.
IsnādUn certain nombre de nos compagnons ont rapporté de Ahmad ibn Muhammad, de Abdullah ibn As-Salt, d'un homme parmi les habitants de Balkh, qui a dit : J'étais avec Imam Ridâ (paix soit sur lui) lors de son voyage vers Khurâsân. Je lui dis alors : Que ma vie soit sacrifiée pour vous, pourquoi ne pas les séparer et leur préparer un repas à part ? Il répondit : Non, certes, le Seigneur, béni et exalté soit-Il, est Un, la mère est une, le père est un, et la rétribution dépend des actions.
