462. Yunus, from Sinan Bin Tareyf who said: I heard Abu Abdullah (asws) saying: ‘It is befitting for ‘لِلْمُؤْمِنِ’ the Believer that he should fear Allah (azwj) with such a fear as if he is overlooking upon the Fire, and hope with such a hope as if he is from the inhabitants of the Paradise’. Then said: ‘Allah (azwj) is with the expectation of His (azwj) servant. If he expects good, so it will be good, and if he expects evil, so it will be evil’.
IsnādYūnus rapporte de Sinān ibn Ṭarīf, qui a dit : J'ai entendu Abā ʿAbdillāh (que la paix soit sur lui) dire :
Il convient au croyant de craindre Allah, exalté et élevé, avec une crainte telle qu'il se tienne au bord du feu, tout en espérant en Lui avec un espoir tel qu'il soit parmi les habitants du Paradis. Puis il a dit : Certes, Allah, Puissant et Majestueux, est tel que Son serviteur Le pense. S'il pense du bien, ce sera du bien, et s'il pense du mal, ce sera du mal.
