3-151 Muhammad ibn al-Hassan ibn Ahmad ibn al-Walid - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Muhammad ibn al-Hassan al-Saffar quoted Al-Hassan ibn Musa al-Khishab, on the authority of Al-Yazid ibn Ishaq She’r, on the authority of Ab’bas ibn Yazid, “I told Aba Abdullah as-Sadiq (MGB), ‘The common people think that polytheism is harder to see than the footstep of an ant on a black cloak at night.’ The Imam (MGB) replied, ‘One would not become a polytheist unless he prays to other than God; makes an offering for other than God; or prays to anyone other than the Honorable the Exalted God.’”
IsnādMuhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Ahmad ibn al-Walid a rapporté: Nous a informés Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Saffar, de la part de al-Hasan ibn Musa al-Khashab, de la part de Yazid ibn Ishaq Sha'r, de la part de Abbas ibn Yazid, de la part de Abi Abdullah (sur lui la paix) qui a dit:
J'ai dit: Certains parmi le commun des gens prétendent que le polythéisme est plus caché qu'une fourmi noire marchant sur une pierre noire dans une nuit sombre. Il a répondu: Un serviteur n'est pas considéré comme polythéiste tant qu'il prie pour autre qu'Allah, ou qu'il sacrifie pour autre qu'Allah, ou qu'il invoque pour autre qu'Allah, le Puissant et Majestueux.
