22-4 Muhammad ibn al-Hassan ibn Ahmad ibn al-Walid - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Muhammad ibn al-Hassan al-Saffar quoted Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ibn Sin’an, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Miskan thatAba Abdullah as-Sadiq (MGB) said, “What would happen when a believer dies and forty believing men stand over his corpse and they say, ‘O God! We know nothing but good things bout him and You know him better than we do’ is that the Blessed the Sublime God will say, ‘I accepted your testimony regarding him and forgive him regarding whatever I know, but you do not know about him.’”

Quand un croyant meurt et que quarante croyants assistent à ses funérailles, disant : "Ô Allah, nous ne connaissons de lui que du bien, et Tu es plus au courant de lui que nous", Allah, exalté soit-Il, dit : "J'ai accepté votre témoignage et pardonné ce que vous ne saviez pas à son sujet".
