2-104 Ahmad ibn Harun al-Fami and Ja’far ibn Muhammad ibn Masroor - may God be pleased with them - narrated that Muhammad ibn Ja’far ibn Bat’tat quoted Ahmad ibn Aba Abdullah al-Barqy, on the authority of his father who linked it up to Aba Abdullah as-Sadiq (MGB), “A greedy man isdeprived of two characteristics and has two characteristics. He is deprived of contentment and has lost comfort. He is deprived of being pleased (with God’s Judgement) and has lost certitude.”
IsnādAhmad ibn Harun al-Fami nous a informés, il a dit: Muhammad ibn Ja'far ibn Batta nous a informés, il a dit: Ahmad ibn Abi Abdullah al-Barqi, de la part de son père, rapportant de Abu Abdullah (sur lui la paix) a dit:
"Le désir excessif interdit deux choses, et en adopte deux autres: il interdit la satisfaction et entraîne le manque de tranquillité, et il interdit l'acceptation et entraîne le manque de certitude."
