The Ten Names of the Prophet (MGB)

10-1 Abul Hussein Muhammad ibn Ali ibn al-Shah narrated that in Ahmed Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Ja’far ibn Ahmad al-Baghdady quoted his father, on the authority of Ahmad ibn al-Sakht, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Aswad al-Warraq on the authority of Ayoob ibn Suleiman on the authorityof Abil Bakhtari, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Hamid, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Munkadir, on the authority of Jabir ibn Abdullah that God’s Prophet (MGB) said, “I am the most similar person to Adam. Abraham is the most similar to me in face and character amongst all the people. The Honorable the Exalted God gave me ten names from above His Throne. God has described me and has given the glad tidings of my coming by every Prophet that He has appointed over the people. He has mentioned My name in the Torah and has made me popular amongst the followers of the Torah and the Bible. He taught me His Book, and raised me up to His Heavens. He chose for me and gave me some of His Own names. He called me Muhammad and He is Mahmood (the Praised One). He brought me forth from the best of my nation. He established my name as Ahid (which comes from Towhid meaning monotheism) in the Torah. It is Unity by which the Fire became forbidden for the bodies of my Nation’s people. He established my name as Ahmad in the Bible as I am praised by the Residents of the Heavens, and God established my Nation as the ones who praise (Hamedin). God established my name as Mah in the Psalms (of David) as the Honorable the Exalted God who will wipe out idol-worshipping on the Earth by my name. God established my name as Muhammad in the Quran as I am the praised one in all of the Resurrection at the time of Judgement. No one but I can intercede. God established my name as Al-Hashir on the Day of Resurrection, since the people will be resurrected by my steps. God established my name as Al-Moqif, since God - may His Majesty be Exalted - shall stop the people in front of me. God distinguished my name as Al-Aqib, since I am the last of the Prophets and there will be no other Prophets after me. God established me as the Prophet of mercy, the Prophet of repentance, the Prophet of war, and the last Prophet who shall be the end of all Prophets. I am the perfect trustee. My Lord has honored me and said, ‘O Muhammad! May God’s Blessings be upon you! All the Prophets were sent to their nations to speak in their own tongue. However, I have sent you to all my people - be they red or black. I have assisted you with an awesomeness with which I have never assisted any of my other Prophets. I have made such a great amount of booties allowed for you which I had never allowed for anyone else before. I have granted you and your nation one of the treasures of my Throne being the Opening Chapter (Al-Fatiha ) and the end part of the Baqara Chapter of the Quran. I have established all the Earth as a mosque and have declared all its dirt as pure. I have granted you and your nation the Takbir (saying God is Great). I have established your name to be close to mine. None of the members of your nation may mention my name without mentioning your name. O Muhammad! May you and your nations be blessed.’”
IsnādAbu Al-Husayn Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Ash-Shah a rapporté: Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Ja'far ibn Ahmad Al-Baghdadi a rapporté: mon père nous a informés, il a dit: Ahmad ibn As-Sakht a dit: Muhammad ibn Aswad Al-Waraq nous a informés, d'après Ayyub ibn Sulayman, d'après Abu Al-Bakhtari, d'après Muhammad ibn Humayd, d'après Muhammad ibn Al-Mankadir, d'après Jabir ibn Abdullah, qui a dit: Le Messager d'Allah (que la paix et les bénédictions d'Allah soient sur lui et sa famille) a dit: "Je suis le plus semblable aux gens d'Adam, et Ibrahim est celui qui me ressemble le plus en termes de création et d'apparence. Allah m'a nommé de dix noms au-dessus de Son Trône, et entre Allah et moi, il y a Mes descriptions et des bonnes nouvelles à mon sujet dans la langue de chaque messager qu'Il a envoyé à son peuple. Il m'a nommé et a répandu mon nom dans la Torah, et a propagé mon rappel dans les gens de la Torah et de l'Évangile. Il m'a enseigné Son Livre et m'a élevé dans Ses cieux, et a choisi pour moi un nom parmi Ses noms, Il m'a nommé Muhammad, et Il m'a loué. Il m'a fait sortir dans la meilleure des époques de ma communauté, et a placé mon nom dans la Torah, Mahmad (qui signifie le loué, et cela concerne l'unicité), donc par l'unicité, Il a interdit à mes adeptes d'être brûlés par le feu. Il m'a nommé dans l'Évangile Ahmad, donc je suis loué dans les cieux, et Il a fait de ma communauté des louangeurs. Il a inscrit mon nom dans les Psaumes, Ahmad, que Dieu a effacé de la terre le culte des idoles. Il m'a nommé dans le Coran Muhammad, donc je suis loué dans toute la résurrection, dans la décision finale, et personne d'autre que moi ne pourra intercéder. Il m'a nommé dans la résurrection, le Rassembleur, qui rassemble les gens à mes pieds. Il m'a nommé au moment de l'arrêt, où les gens seront placés devant Allah, le Majestueux. Il m'a nommé à la fin des prophètes, il n'y aura pas de prophète après moi. Il m'a fait le Messager de la miséricorde, le Messager du repentir, le Messager des batailles et du rassemblement, j'ai été envoyé après les prophètes en tant que groupe. Je suis celui qui complète, qui rassemble, et qui est soutenu par mon Seigneur." Il a dit: "Ô Muhammad, que la paix soit sur toi, J'ai envoyé chaque messager à sa communauté dans sa propre langue, et Je t'ai envoyé à chaque être humain, rouge ou noir parmi ma création. Je t'ai soutenu par une terreur avec laquelle Je n'ai soutenu personne d'autre, Je t'ai permis le butin qui n'était permis à personne avant toi, Je t'ai donné à toi et à ta communauté un trésor parmi les trésors de Mon Trône, la Sourate d'Ouverture du Livre et la fin de la Sourate Al-Baqara. J'ai fait de toute la terre un lieu de prière pour toi et ta communauté, et sa terre est purificatrice. Je t'ai donné le Takbir, et j'ai lié ton rappel avec Mon rappel, jusqu'à ce qu'aucun de ta communauté ne se rappelle de Moi sans se rappeler de toi en même temps. Félicitations à toi, ô Muhammad, et à ta communauté."
10-2 (The compiler of the book narrated) that his father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Sa’ed ibn Abdullah quoted Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, on the authority of Al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Faz’zal, on the authority of Ibn Bakir, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Muslim that Abi Ja’far al-Baqir (MGB) said, “Indeed there are ten names for the Prophet of God (MGB): five of which are in the Quran and five of which are not in the Quran. The ones that are in the Quran are Muhammad (MGB); Ahmad; Abdullah; YaSin; and Noon. The names which are not in the Quran are Al-Fatih; Al-Khatam; Al-Kafi; Al-Muqfi and Al-Hashir.”
IsnādMon père m'a informé, qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui, il a dit: Saad ibn Abdullah nous a informé, d'Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Issa, de Al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Faddal, d'Ibn Bukayr, de Muhammad ibn Muslim, de Abi Ja'far, que la paix soit sur lui, a dit:
Le Messager d'Allah, que la paix soit sur lui, a dix noms, cinq d'entre eux sont dans le Coran et cinq ne le sont pas. Quant à ceux qui sont dans le Coran: Muhammad, que la paix soit sur lui, Ahmad, Abdallah, Yâs et Nûn. Et quant à ceux qui ne sont pas dans le Coran: Al-Fâtiḥ, Al-Khâtim, Al-Kâfi, Al-Muqaffâ et Al-Ḥâshir.
