2-11 Muhammad ibn al-Hassan ibn Ahmad ibn al-Walid - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Muhammad ibn al-Hassan al-Saffar quoted on the authority of Muhammad ibn Abdul Jab’bar, on the authority of Al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Faz’zal, on the authority of Zarif ibn Nasih, on the authority of Ibrahim ibn Yahya, on the authority of Ja’far ibn Muhammad (MGB), on the authority of his father (MGB) that God’s Prophet (MGB) said, “The Blessed the Sublime God has divided the people on the Earth into two groups and placed me in the better one. Then he divided that group into three parts and I was in the best part. Then he chose the Quraysh from amongst the Arabs, chose the children of Abdul Mutalib from amongst the Hashemites , and chose me from amongst the children of Abdul Mutalib.”
IsnādMuhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Ahmad ibn al-Walid a rapporté: Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Saffar nous a informés, de la part de Muhammad ibn Abd al-Jabbar, de la part de al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Fudayl, de la part de Dhurayf ibn Nasah, de la part d'Ibrahim ibn Yahya, qui a dit: Ja'far ibn Muhammad m'a informé, de la part de son père, paix et bénédictions soient sur eux, qui a dit: Le Messager d'Allah, que la paix et les bénédictions d'Allah soient sur lui et sur sa famille, a dit: "Allah, exalté soit-Il, a divisé les habitants de la terre en deux groupes et m'a placé dans le meilleur des deux. Ensuite, Il a divisé l'autre moitié en trois et j'étais le meilleur des trois. Ensuite, Il a choisi parmi les Arabes, puis parmi les Quraysh parmi les Arabes, puis parmi les Banu Hashim parmi les Quraysh, puis parmi les Banu Abd al-Muttalib parmi les Banu Hashim, et ensuite Il m'a choisi parmi les Banu Abd al-Muttalib."
