3-229 Abul-Qasim al-Hassan ibn Muhammad al-Sakoony al-Mazaki in Kufa narrated that Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Hazrami quoted Muhammad ibn Maquq, on the authority of Hussein, on the authority of Yahya ibn Salma ibn Kohayl, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abil Za’era that Abdullah ibn Mas’ood said, “The scholars in the world can be divided into three groups: the scholars in Syria, the scholars in Saudi Arabia, and the scholars in Iraq. The scholar in Syria is Abil Dirda. The scholar in Iraq is your brother in Kufa. The scholar in Saudi Arabia is Ali (MGB). The scholars in Syria and Iraq need the scholar in Saudi Arabia , while the scholar in Saudi Arabia doesn’t need them.”
IsnādAbou Al-Qâsim Al-Hassan ibn Muhammad As-Sakûnî Al-Mazkî, rapporta de Koufa, a dit : Nous a informés Muhammad ibn Abdallah Al-Hadramî, qui a dit : Nous a informés Muhammad ibn Marzûq, qui a dit : Nous a informés Hussein, qui a dit : Nous a informa Yahya ibn Salama ibn Kahîl, de son père, de Abi Az-Zarâ', qui a dit : Abdallah ibn Mas'ûd a dit : Les savants de la terre sont au nombre de trois : un savant de Sham, un savant du Hidjâz, et un savant de l'Irâq. Quant au savant de Sham, c'est Abû Ad-Dardâ', quant au savant du Hidjâz, c'est Ali (sur lui la paix), et quant au savant de l'Irâq, c'est un frère à vous de Koufa. Les savants de Sham et de l'Irâq ont besoin du savant du Hidjâz, tandis que le savant du Hidjâz n'a pas besoin d'eux.
