Glad Tidings of Ten Characteristics For Ali’s Followers

10-10 The following tradition has been reported by Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Qattan, Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Haysam al-Ajali, Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Musa, Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Senani, al-Hussein ibn Ibrahim ibn Hisham al-Mokattib and Ali ibn Abdullah al-Var’raq - may God be pleased with them - who narrated that Abul-Ab’bas Ahmad ibn Yahya ibn Zakariya al-Qat’tan quoted on the authority of Bakr ibn Abdullah ibn Habib, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Zakariya, on the authority of Abdullah ibn al-Zah’hak, on the authority of Zayd ibn Musa ibn Ja’far, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, on the authority of his father Ali ibn al-Hussein (MGB) , on the authority of his father (MGB) , on the authority of Ali ibn Abi Talib (MGB) . It was also narrated by Bakr ibn Abdullah ibn Habib, on the authority of Tamim ibn Buhlool, on the authority of Sa’ed ibn Abdul Rahman al-Makhzoomi, on the authority of Al-Hussein ibn Zayd, on the authority of Ja’far ibn Muhammad as-Sadiq (MGB), on the authority of his father Muhammad ibn Ali al-Baqir (MGB), on the authority of his father Ali ibn al-Hussein as-Sajjad (MGB), on the authority of his father Al-Hussein ibn Ali (MGB), on the authority of his father Ali ibn Abi Talib (MGB) that God’s Prophet (MGB) said, “O Ali! Give glad tidings of ten characteristics to your helpers and followers: The first is their being born legitimately. The second is their good belief in God. The third is the Honorable the Exalted God’s love for them. The fourth is the ease and comfort in their grave. The fifth is a bright light illuminating their path when they want to cross the Bridge . The sixth is the elimination of poverty from their sight and the enrichment of their hearts. The seventh is God’s animosity towards their enemies. The eight is that they will be immune from leprosy (plus vitiligo and insanity). O Ali! The ninth is that sins and wickedness will be shed from them. The tenth is that they shall be with me in Paradise, and I shall be with them.”
IsnādNous ont rapporté Ahmad ibn al-Hasan al-Qatân, Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn al-Haytham al-'Ajali, 'Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Mûsâ, Muhammad ibn Ahmad as-Sanânî, al-Husayn ibn Ibrâhîm ibn Ahmad ibn Hishâm al-Maktab, et 'Ali ibn 'Abd Allah al-Warraq, qu'Allah soit satisfait d'eux, qui ont dit: Abu al-'Abbâs Ahmad ibn Yahyâ ibn Zakariyyâ al-Qatân nous a informés, de Bakr ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Habîb qui a dit: Muhammad ibn Zakariyyâ nous a informés, de 'Abd Allah ibn ad-Dahhâk qui a dit: Zayd ibn Mûsâ ibn Ja'far nous a informés, de son père, de son grand-père, de son père 'Ali ibn al-Husayn, de son père, de 'Ali ibn Abî Tâlib, qu'Allah les bénisse, et Bakr ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Habîb a dit: Tammâm ibn Bahîlûl nous a informés, qui a dit: Sa'd ibn 'Abd ar-Rahmân al-Makhzûmî nous a informés, qui a dit: al-Husayn ibn Zayd nous a informés, de Ja'far ibn Muhammad, de son père Muhammad ibn 'Ali, de son père 'Ali ibn al-Husayn, de son père al-Husayn, de son père 'Ali ibn Abî Tâlib, qu'Allah les bénisse, a dit: Le Messager d'Allah, paix et bénédictions d'Allah soient sur lui et sur sa famille, a dit: "Ô 'Ali, annonce à tes partisans et à tes partisans dix qualités: la première est une naissance pure, la deuxième est une belle foi en Allah, la troisième est l'amour d'Allah Tout-Puissant pour eux, la quatrième est l'élargissement de leurs tombes, la cinquième est la lumière sur le pont devant eux, la sixième est l'éloignement de la pauvreté de devant eux, enrichissant leurs cœurs, la septième est la protection d'Allah Tout-Puissant contre leurs ennemis, la huitième est la sécurité contre la lèpre [et la lèpre et la folie], ô 'Ali, et la neuvième est l'élimination des péchés et des mauvaises actions d'eux, et la dixième est qu'ils seront avec moi au Paradis et moi avec eux."
"Ô 'Ali, annonce à tes partisans et à tes partisans dix qualités: la première est une naissance pure, la deuxième est une belle foi en Allah, la troisième est l'amour d'Allah Tout-Puissant pour eux, la quatrième est l'élargissement de leurs tombes, la cinquième est la lumière sur le pont devant eux, la sixième est l'éloignement de la pauvreté de devant eux, enrichissant leurs cœurs, la septième est la protection d'Allah Tout-Puissant contre leurs ennemis, la huitième est la sécurité contre la lèpre [et la lèpre et la folie], ô 'Ali, et la neuvième est l'élimination des péchés et des mauvaises actions d'eux, et la dixième est qu'ils seront avec moi au Paradis et moi avec eux."
