The Prophet had nine wives when he died

9-13 Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Ishaq al-Taleqani - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Al-Hussein ibn Ali ibn al-Hussein al-Sokri quoted Muhammad ibn Zakariya al-Juwhary, on the authority of Ja’far ibn Muhammad ibn Ammarat, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Aba Abdullah Ja’far ibn Muhammad as-Sadiq (MGB), “God’s Prophet (MGB) married fifteen women, and consummated the marriage with thirteen of them. He (MGB) had nine wives when he (MGB) died. The two with whom he had not slept with were Omra and Sina . The thirteen wives with whom he (MGB) consummated his marriage were: first Khadijah - the daughter of Khuwaylid ; second Sorat - the daughter of Zam’a ; third Umma Salma whose name was Hind - the daughter of Abi Umayya ; fourth Umma Abdullah Ayesha - the daughter of Abu Bakr; fifth Hafsah - the daughter of Umar ; sixth Zaynab - the daughter of Khuzayma ibn al-Harith - Umma al-Masakin ; seventh Zaynab - the daughter of Jahsh ; eighth Umma Habiba Ramlat - the daughter of Abu Sufyan ; ninth Maymuna - the daughter of Al-Harith ; tenth Zaynab - the daughter of Amees; eleventh Jowayreeyat - the daughter of Al-Harith ; twelfth Safiyya - the daughter of Huyayy ibn Akhtab. And the wife who had devoted herself to the Prophet (MGB) was Khule - the daughter of Hakim al-Salmy. He (MGB) also had two slave-wives called Maryam Qibtiyah and Rayhana al-Khandaqiya with whom he took turns sleeping every so many nights just like his other wives. And the nine who were still alive when he (MGB) died were: Ayesha; Hafsah; Umma Salma; Zaynab - the daughter of Jahsh; Maymuna - the daughter of Al-Harith; Umma Habiba - the daughter of Abu Sufyan; Safiyya - the daughter of Huyayy ibn Akhtab; Jowayreeyat - the daughter of Al-Harith and Sorat - the daughter of Zam’a. Their noblest one was Khadijah - the daughter of Khuwaylid . Then the next noble one was Umma Salma - the daughter of Al-Harith.”
IsnādNous a informé Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Ishaq at-Talqani, qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui, qui a dit: Nous a informé al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn al-Husayn as-Sukkari, qui a dit: Nous a informé Muhammad ibn Zakariya al-Jawhari, de Ja'far ibn Muhammad ibn Amara, de son père, de Abu 'Abdillah Ja'far ibn Muhammad as-Sadiq, que la paix soit sur lui.
Le Messager d'Allah, que la prière d'Allah et Son salut soient sur lui, a épousé quinze femmes, en a consommé le mariage avec treize d'entre elles, et en est décédé alors qu'il était marié avec neuf. Parmi celles avec lesquelles il n'a pas consommé le mariage se trouvent Umm Habiba et As-Sana. Les treize avec lesquelles il a consommé le mariage sont Khadija bint Khuwaylid, puis Sawda bint Zam'a, puis Umm Salama dont le nom est Hind bint Abi Umayya, puis Aisha bint Abi Bakr, puis Hafsa bint 'Umar, puis Zaynab bint Khuzayma bint al-Harith, la mère des nécessiteux, puis Zaynab bint Jahsh, puis Umm Habiba Ramla bint Abi Sufyan, puis Maymuna bint al-Harith, puis Zaynab bint 'Amr, puis Juwayriya bint al-Harith, puis Safiyya bint Huyayy ibn Akhtab. Celle qui s'est offerte au Prophète, que la prière d'Allah et Son salut soient sur lui, est Khawla bint Hakim as-Sulami. Il avait deux esclaves affranchies avec lesquelles il partageait son temps avec ses épouses: Maria et Rayhana al-Khandaqiya. Les neuf avec lesquelles il est décédé sont Aisha, Hafsa, Umm Salama, Zaynab bint Jahsh, Maymuna bint al-Harith, Umm Habiba bint Abi Sufyan, Safiyya bint Huyayy ibn Akhtab, Juwayriya bint al-Harith, et Sawda bint Zam'a. La meilleure d'entre elles est Khadija bint Khuwaylid, puis Umm Salama bint al-Harith.
