3. Ḥasan ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā narrated to me from his father, from Ḥasan ibn Maḥbūb, from Mālik ibn ‘Aťiyyah, from his father, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a.s.)) said: When you take from the clay of the Oppressed One (Imam Ḥusain (a.s.)) and place it in your mouth, recite (the following): O Allāh! I ask You through the right of this dust, through the right of the angel who held it, through the right of the Prophet who embraced it, and through the right of the Imam who is buried in it to send Your blessing on Muḥammad and the family of Muḥammad, and to allow it to be a beneficial cure and an extensive sustenance for me, and (allow it) to be my protection against any fear and disease. Verily if you recite this, Allāh will cure you and bestow you with good health.
