40 – al-Muʿtaqal (likely an error for al-Mufaḍḍal) b. ʿUmar, al-Juʿfī, Abū ʿAbdillāh. According to me he is thiqa in himself, however his ḥadīths – all of them – are unrecognized, and nothing is cleared from his ḥadīth that is permissible to rely upon.
