So now, certainly Allāh deputed Muḥammad (S) as the Prophet while no one among the Arabs read the Book nor claimed prophethood or revelation. He had to fight those who disobeyed him in company with those who followed him, leading them towards their salvation and hastening with them lest death overtook them. When any weary person sighed or a distressed one stopped he stood at him till he got him his aim, except the worst in whom there was not virtue at all. Eventually he showed them their goal and carried them to their places (of deliverance). Consequently their affairs moved on and their hand-mill began to rotate (i.e. position gained strength), their spears got straightened.
IsnādLe Prophète Muhammad (que la paix et les bénédictions de Dieu soient sur lui et sa famille) a dit:
Après cela, Dieu, exalté soit-Il, a envoyé Muhammad, et il n'y a personne parmi les Arabes qui lit un livre sans prétendre à la prophétie ou à la révélation, qu'il combatte ceux qui lui obéissent et ceux qui lui désobéissent, les menant vers leur destin, et l'Heure les rattrape avant qu'ils ne s'en rendent compte. Le regret sera alors inutile et le repentir vain. Il restera ferme sur sa position jusqu'à ce que sa fin le rejoigne, étant alors perdu sans espoir de salut, jusqu'à ce qu'ils atteignent leur destin et occupent leur place, puis leurs voiles seront levés et leur vérité sera révélée.
By Allāh, I was among their rear-guard till they turned back on their sides and were flocked in their rope. I never showed weakness or lack of courage, nor did I betray or become languid. By Allāh, I shall split the wrong till I extract right from its flanks.

Par Allah, j'ai été avec elle depuis ses premiers pas jusqu'à ce qu'elle ait atteint la maturité de sa force. Elle a été courageuse dans les batailles, je n'ai jamais faibli, ni reculé, ni trahi, ni vacillé. Par Allah, la vérité ne sera pas éoulée tant que l'erreur sera retirée de son flanc!
as-Sayyid ar-Raḍī says: I have quoted a selected part of this sermon before, but since I have found in the narration that this part differs from the previous one, more or less, I deemed it necessary to quote it again here.

Et il a été mentionné le choix de ce discours, cependant je l'ai trouvé dans cette narration en contradiction avec ce qui a été mentionné en termes d'ajouts et de diminutions, donc j'ai jugé nécessaire de le confirmer à nouveau.
