311. When Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, came to Baṣrah he sent Anas ibn Mālik to Ṭalḥah and az-Zubayr to make them recall what he (Anas) himself had heard the Messenger of Allāh, peace be upon him and his descendants, say concerning them both, but he avoided doing so and when he came back to Amīr al-mu’minīn, he said that he had forgotten that matter.
IsnādAli (que la paix soit sur lui) a dit à Anas ibn Malik, qu'il avait envoyé à Talha et Zubayr lorsqu'il est arrivé à Basra pour leur rappeler quelque chose qu'il avait entendu du Messager de Dieu (que la paix et les bénédictions de Dieu soient sur lui) à leur sujet, mais il a oublié cet aspect, alors il est retourné vers lui et a dit: "J'ai oublié cette affaire."
