257. Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him, said to Kumayl ibn Ziyād an-Nakha‘ī: O’ Kumayl, direct your people to go out in the day to achieve noble traits and to go out in the night to meet the needs of those who might be sleeping, for I swear by Him Whose hearing extends to all voices if ever someone pleases another’s heart, Allāh will create a special thing out of this pleasing so that whenever any hardship befalls him it will come running like flowing water and drive away the hardship as wild camels are driven away.
IsnādAli (que la paix soit sur lui) a dit à Kumayl ibn Ziyad al-Nakha'i :
"Ô Kumayl, ordonne à ta famille de s'engager dans la quête des nobles actions, et de répondre aux besoins de celui qui dort. Par Celui dont l'ouïe englobe tous les sons, il n'y a personne qui confie un cœur à la joie sans qu'Allah ne crée pour lui de cette joie une douceur. Et quand une détresse le touche, il court vers elle comme l'eau dans son cours, jusqu'à ce qu'il s'en débarrasse comme on éloigne une étrangère des chameaux."
