1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from those narrated to him from Ibrahim ibn Mahziyar who has said the following: “I once wrote to abu Muhammad, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, saying, ‘Your follower, Ali ibn Mahziyar has said in his will to perform al-Hajj on his behalf from an asset of which one-fourth is for you, every year one al-Hajj up to twenty dinar. The road through al-Basra is cut off and the expenses have increased; people charge more than twenty dinar and so also many of your followers have said in their wills. He (the Imam) wrote in answer, ‘Three al-Hajj ah must be made as two al-Hajj by the will of Allah.’”
IsnādMuhammad ibn Yahya a rapporté d'Ibrahim ibn Mahziyar qui a dit: J'ai écrit à Abi Muhammad (sur lui la paix) que ton esclave Ali ibn Mahziyar a recommandé que l'on fasse le pèlerinage pour lui à partir d'un domaine dont un quart t'appartient chaque année pour vingt dinars, et que la route de Basra s'est coupée, ce qui a doublé la charge sur les gens, et ils ne peuvent pas se contenter de vingt dinars. Il a également recommandé un certain nombre de tes partisans dans leurs pèlerinages, et il a écrit qu'ils devraient être comptés comme trois pèlerinages, deux pour un, si Allah le veut.
