1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and Muhammad ibn ‘Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from all from Safwan ibn Yahya and ibn abu ‘Umayr and Safwan from Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘When you enter Makkah for al-Hajj al-Tamattu‘ (advantageous), and you can see the houses of Makkah, then stop saying al-Talbiyah (Here I am, O Lord, to obey Your command). The limits of the houses of Makkah are that which existed before the day of ‘Aqabah al-Madaniyin. After that people built that which did not exist. You must stop saying al-Talbiyah and say Takbir (Allah is great beyond description), Tahlil, (no one deserves worship except Allah), Tahmid, (all praise belongs to Allah) and praise Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, as much as you can.’”
