Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from Safwan ibn Yahya and ibn abu ‘Umayr Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘When in the morning you are ready to move toward ‘Arafat, say this prayer, ‘O Lord, I have turned to You, depend on You and for Your sake I act. I appeal before You to make my journey a blessing, grant my needs and make me today of those about whom You express pride before those who are more virtuous than I am.’ Thereafter say Talbiyah and you are on your way to ‘Arafat. You can pitch up your tent in Namirah when you arrive in ‘Arafat, which is before the station and before ‘Arafat. On the day of ‘Arafah, take Ghusl (bath) when it is Zawal (declining of the sun toward the west at noontime). You can perform al-Zuhr and al-‘Asr Salat (prayer) with one Adhan and two ‘Iqamah. Say al-‘Asr Salat (prayer) earlier, in fact perform them soon one after the other, so you can give yourself enough time for prayer and supplication; it is the day for appealing and pleading (before Allah).’ He (the Imam) said, ‘The boundaries of ‘Arafat are from Batn ‘Urnah, to Thawiyah, and Namirah to Dhil Majaz. Behind the hill is the station.’”

a dit : "Quand tu te rends à Arafat, dis en te tournant vers elle : Ô Allah, vers Toi j'ai tourné mon visage, en Toi j'ai placé ma confiance, et vers Toi je me suis dirigé. Je Te demande de bénir mon voyage, d'exaucer mes besoins, et de me compter parmi ceux que Tu honores, ceux qui sont meilleurs que moi. Puis, demande et Tu es en route vers Arafat. Quand tu arrives à Arafat, frappe ton campement avec une lance, et le campement est le bas d'Uranah, avant le lieu de stationnement et avant Arafat. Quand le soleil se couche à Arafat, fais tes ablutions, prie Dhuhr et Asr ensemble avec un seul appel à la prière et deux fois l'Iqama. Tu anticipes Asr et tu les combines pour te libérer pour l'invocation, car c'est un jour d'invocation et de demande. Il a dit : Arafat est limité du bas d'Uranah, Thawiyah, et Namirah jusqu'à Dhu al-Majaz et derrière la montagne est le lieu de stationnement."

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘The Ghusl (bath) on the day of ‘Arafah, is at Zawal (declining of the sun toward the west at noontime) and you must perform al-Zuhr and al-‘Asr Salat (prayer) together with one Adhan and two ‘Iqamah.’”

Le bain rituel le jour d'Arafat se fait lorsque le soleil se dissipe et que le temps entre Dhuhr et Asr se réunit avec un appel à la prière et deux appels à l'établissement de la prière.

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Umayr from Hafs ibn al-Bakhtariy and Hisham ibn al-Hakam who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, was asked, ‘Is ‘Arafat, more important or al-Haram (the sacred area)?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Al-Haram (the sacred area) is more important.’ It was asked, ‘Why is ‘Arafat not in al-Haram (the sacred area)?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘This is how Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, has made it.’”

Il lui fut demandé : "Quel est le plus honorable, al-Haram ou Arafat ?" Il répondit : "Al-Haram." On lui demanda : "Comment Arafat ne serait-elle pas dans al-Haram ?" Il dit : "C'est ainsi qu'Allah l'a établi." Allah est glorifié et exalté.

6. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ‘Isma‘il from Ali ibn al-Nu’man from ibn Muskan from abu Basir who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘The boundary of ‘Arafat is from al-Mazemin to the end of the station.’”

Il a dit : "Le lieu de l'Arafat s'étend du Ma'zimeyn jusqu'au point le plus éloigné du lieu de stationnement."
