3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Mu’ammar ibn Khallad who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘A man should better the quality of life of his family so that they may not wish for his death.’ He then recited this from the Holy Quran, “They give food, because of their love for Him, to a destitute, orphan and captive.” (76:8) Captive (in this verse) is a reference to one’s family; thus, he should improve the quality of their lives when his financial conditions improve.’ He then said, ‘So and so received favors from Allah, but he held it back from his family and instead kept it with so and so. Allah then took it away from him.’ Mu’ammar has said, ‘So and so was present at that time.’”

Il convient à l'homme d'être généreux envers sa famille afin qu'ils ne souhaitent pas sa mort. Il récita ce verset : "Ils donnent de la nourriture, malgré leur amour pour lui, au pauvre, à l'orphelin et au prisonnier." L'orateur a dit : "Le prisonnier de l'homme est sa famille. Il convient à l'homme, lorsqu'il est comblé de bienfaits, d'accroître la générosité envers sa famille. Puis il dit : "Certes, untel a été comblé par Allah d'une grâce, mais sa famille l'a empêché d'en faire profiter les autres et l'a confiée à untel, alors Allah l'a retirée." Mu'ammar a dit : "Untel était présent."

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Umayr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman from Rabi’a ibn Yazid who has said the following: “I heard abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, say, ‘A providing hand is better than an asking hand, and you should begin providing for your family.’”

La main supérieure est meilleure que la main inférieure, et commence par celui que tu nourris.

5. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn abu Nasr who has said the following: “Al-Rida, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘A wealthy person should improve the quality of life of his family.’”

Le possesseur de bienfait est tenu d'être généreux envers sa famille.

6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father, from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, from his ancestors, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has narrated the following Hadith.

Le Messager de Dieu (que la prière de Dieu soit sur lui et sur sa famille) a dit : "Le croyant mange selon les désirs de sa famille, tandis que l'hypocrite fait manger sa famille selon ses propres désirs."

7. Sahl ibn Ziyad has narrated from Ali ibn Asbat from his father who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, was asked, ‘Did the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, provide proper sustenance for his family?’ The Imam replied, ‘Yes, when a soul knows how much it needs, it then becomes satisfied with that much and flesh grows with it.’”

Il a été demandé à Abu 'Abdillah (sur lui soit la paix) : "Le Messager d'Allah (que la prière d'Allah et Son salut soient sur lui et sa famille) nourrissait-il sa famille avec une quantité suffisante ?" Il répondit : "Oui, certes, lorsque l'âme reconnaît sa suffisance, elle se contente de cela et la chair pousse dessus."

8. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘It is enough sin for one not to provide for his family and lose them.’”

Il suffit à un homme comme péché de négliger celui dont il est responsable.

A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from abu al-Khazraj al-Ansariy from Ali ibn Ghurab who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that the Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Condemned is one, indeed condemned is one who shifts his burden upon the people, and so also is one who loses his family and does not provide sustenance for them.’”

Le Messager de Dieu (que la prière de Dieu et Ses bénédictions soient sur lui) a dit: "Maudit, maudit est celui qui jette tout sur les gens. Maudit, maudit est celui qui abandonne celui qu'il doit nourrir."

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Umayr from Sayf ibn ‘Amirah from abu Hamzah who has said the following: “Ali ibn al-Husayn, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘I love going to the market to buy meat for my family who strongly desire it, more than setting free an enslaved soul.’”

"Il m'est plus cher d'entrer au marché avec des pièces d'argent pour acheter de la viande pour ma famille, alors qu'ils sont affamés, que de libérer un esclave."

11. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Umayr from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that Ali ibn al-Husayn, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, would go out early every morning to earn a living. If people asked, ‘Where are you going, O great grandson of the Holy Prophet?’ He replied, ‘I want to give charity to my family.’ People then asked, ‘Is it charity?’ He then replied, ‘One who earns in lawful way; his earnings are Allah’s charity for him.’”

Ali ibn al-Hussein (paix soit sur eux) sortait le matin à la recherche de subsistance. On lui demanda : "Ô fils du Messager d'Allah, où vas-tu ?" Il répondit : "Je fais l'aumône pour ma famille." On lui demanda : "Tu fais l'aumône ?" Il dit : "Celui qui cherche licitement sa subsistance, c'est une aumône qu'il fait pour lui-même de la part d'Allah le Très-Haut."

12. Ali has narrated from Muhammad ibn Bandar from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from abu Muhammad al- Ansariy from ‘Umar ibn Yazid who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘The believing person follows the discipline of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious. When Allah grants him extended favors, he becomes generous; and when He holds back, he also spares his means.’”

Le Messager d'Allah (que la paix soit sur lui et sur sa famille) a dit : "Le croyant adopte le comportement d'Allah, le Très Haut, lorsqu'Il étend, il s'étend, et lorsqu'Il retient, il retient."

13. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Umayr from Murazim from Mu’adh ibn Kathir who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that it is of the prosperity of man to support and provide for his family.”

قَالَ مِنْ سَعَادَةِ الرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَكُونَ الْقَيِّمَ عَلَى عِيَالِهِ.

14. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Yasir al-Khadim who has said the following: “I heard abu al-Hassan al-Rida, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, say, ‘A man should spare from the means of his sustenance to provide fuel for his family during winter.’”

Il convient au croyant de réduire la part de nourriture de sa famille en hiver et d'augmenter leur provision de bois de chauffage.`
