1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Ahmad b. Idris from Ahmad b. Abdillah from his father from Ahmad b. al-Nadhr from ’Amru b. Shimr from Jabir from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said: “One who testifies the disbelief of someone, there can be only two cases viz. either the person is testifying about a disbeliever or this disbelief returns to him. Hence keep away from ridiculing a believer.”
IsnādAbi Rah a dit: Ahmad ibn Idris m'a informé, d'après Ahmad ibn Abdullah, d'après son père, d'après Ahmad ibn al-Nadr, d'après Amr ibn Shimr, d'après Jabir, d'après Abi Ja'far (as) qui a dit:
Aucun homme n'a témoigné contre un autre en le déclarant mécréant sans que l'un des deux ne soit touché. S'il témoigne contre un mécréant, il dit la vérité, mais s'il est croyant, son témoignage revient contre lui. Et je vous mets en garde contre le fait de médire des croyants.
