1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) narrates from his predecessors that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “All the eyes will cry on the Day of Judgment except three – an eye which cried out of fear of Allah, an eye which remained awake for the sake of Allah and an eye which refrained from seeing what Allah has prohibited.” The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “Tooba (Congratulations) be for the face to look at which is so nice whose eyes are weeping over sins committed by him that are not known to anyone.”
IsnādMuhammad ibn al-Hasan m'a informé en disant: Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Saffar m'a informé, d'après Ibrahim ibn Hashim, d'après Abdullah ibn al-Mughirah, d'après al-Sakuni, d'après Ja'far ibn Muhammad, d'après son père, que le Messager d'Allah (paix et bénédictions d'Allah soient sur lui) a dit:
Chaque œil pleurera le Jour de la Résurrection, sauf trois types d'yeux: un œil qui a pleuré par crainte d'Allah, un œil qui est resté éveillé dans la voie d'Allah, et un œil qui s'est détourné des interdits d'Allah. Le Prophète (paix et bénédictions d'Allah soient sur lui) a dit: "Heureux celui dont les yeux ont versé des larmes par crainte d'Allah. Allah les fera pleurer sur un péché par crainte d'Allah, qu'aucun autre n'a vu."
