Punishment of one who is indebted at the time of death, who is careless of urine present on body and clothes, spreads scandals, backbites and slanders

1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) narrates from his ancestors that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said that there are four kinds of people who will involve other inmates of Hell in their punishment. They will wail loudly after drinking boiling water. The people of Hell will ask: “What is the sin of these four types of people for they are given extra punishment in addition to that given to us? Their punishment is increasing our suffering also.” One of them would be hanging in a casket of fire, second will be drinking vomit and smoke, dirt and blood will be coming out of the mouth of the third and fourth will eat his own flesh continuously. The first one will be asked: “O one away from the mercy of Allah! What sin did you commit for which we have to suffer in addition to our own punishment?” He will reply, “I was having rights of others and I died without fulfilling them.” Then the person drinking smoke will be asked, “O one away from the mercy of Allah! What sin did you commit for which we have to suffer in addition to our own punishment?” He will reply, “The reason I am away from the mercy of Allah is that my body used to become impure with urine and I never cared about it.” Then the person whose mouth will have dirt and blood coming out will be asked, “O one away from the mercy of Allah! What sin did you commit for which we have to suffer in addition to our own punishment?” The person will reply, “I am away from the mercy of Allah because I used to spread scandals and publicize obscenity.” Then the person who is eating his own flesh will be asked, “O one away from the mercy of Allah! What sin did you commit for which we have to suffer in addition to our own punishment?” He will reply, “I used to eat the flesh of people by backbiting and used to slander.”
IsnādAli ibn Ahmad m'a informé, il a dit : Muhammad ibn Ja'far m'a informé, il a dit : Musa ibn Imran m'a informé, il a dit : Al-Husayn ibn Yazid m'a informé, il a dit : Hafs ibn Ghiyath m'a informé, de Ja'far ibn Muhammad عليه السلام, il a dit : Le Messager d'Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم a dit :
"Quatre types de personnes tourmentent les habitants de l'Enfer pour les torts qu'ils leur ont causés : ils seront nourris de l'eau bouillante et du pus de l'Enfer, on criera 'Malheur à vous !' et 'Pérdition !'. Les habitants de l'Enfer se demanderont : 'Qu'ont donc fait ces quatre-là pour nous tourmenter ainsi ? Nous ont-ils causé plus de tort que ce que nous subissons déjà ?' Il sera alors montré un homme suspendu par un coffre de feu, un autre dont les entrailles se répandent, un troisième dont la salive est du pus et du sang, et un quatrième qui mange sa propre chair. On demandera à celui qui est suspendu : 'Pourquoi as-tu causé tant de tort aux autres ?' Il répondra : 'J'ai laissé des dettes impayées derrière moi'. Puis on demandera à celui dont les entrailles se répandent : 'Pourquoi as-tu causé tant de tort aux autres ?' Il répondra : 'Je me moquais de l'endroit où je faisais mes besoins'. Ensuite, on demandera à celui dont la salive est du pus et du sang : 'Pourquoi as-tu causé tant de tort aux autres ?' Il répondra : 'Je propageais des calomnies'. Enfin, on demandera à celui qui mange sa propre chair : 'Pourquoi as-tu causé tant de tort aux autres ?' Il répondra : 'Je calomniais les gens en leur absence et je répandais des rumeurs sur eux'."
