1. Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) said, “If a believer faces a calamity in this world and utters Laa ilaaha illallaah, Allah will forgive all of his sins except the greater sins for which the punishment of Hell is obligatory. Utter Laa ilaaha illallaah and glorify Allah whenever you are faced with a calamity in future. In this case Allah will forgive all the sins committed between two utterances (of the above phrase) except greater sins.”
IsnādAbi Rah a dit: Sa'd ibn Abdullah m'a informé, d'après Ahmad ibn Muhammad, d'après Al-Hasan ibn Ali, d'après Abdullah ibn Sinan, d'après Ma'ruf ibn Kharabudh, d'après Abi Ja'far (as) qui a dit: J'ai entendu dire que tout croyant qui est touché par un malheur dans ce monde et qui patiente jusqu'à ce que le malheur le surprenne, Allah lui pardonnera ses péchés passés, à l'exception des grands péchés pour lesquels Allah a prescrit le Feu. Il a dit: Chaque fois qu'il se rappelle un malheur dans ce qu'il attend de sa vie, et qu'il patiente, loue Allah, Allah lui pardonnera tous les péchés qu'il a commis entre le premier rappel et le second rappel, à l'exception des grands péchés.
Ce hadith souligne l'importance de la patience face aux épreuves et affirme que la patience peut conduire au pardon des péchés passés, à l'exception des grands péchés.
