Châtiment de l'obéissance au Diable et de l'amour de ce monde

1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Yahya al-’Attar who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ahmad b. Ya’qub b. Yazid from Muhammad b. ’Amru from Salih b. Sa’eed from his father Sa’eed al-Halwani from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “What have you done to yourselves? What happened to you?” The person replied, “We were fine in the morning and reached Hawiya at night.” He was asked what Hawiya was. The person answered, “It is an ocean of fire having mountains of fire.” He was asked the reason for being sent to that place. He replied, “Because of the love of this world and worship of idols.” He was asked, “How much love did you have for this world?” The person replied, “We loved it as much as a child loves its mother. The child becomes happy when she comes and becomes sad when she goes away.” He was asked, “How much did you worship the devil?” He answered, “We used to obey whenever a command was given to us.” He was asked, “Why is it so that only you are replying and others are quiet?” He replied, “Because their mouths are filled with fire and angels appointed over them are torturing them severely. I used to live with them but did not act like them. The chastisement took me along with these people. Till now, I am hanging from a wire as thin as a hair. I fear that I will also fall in the fire of Hell.” Isa (a.s.) told his companions, “Sleeping on dry grass and eating barley bread is a way to save ourselves.”

Il a dit: "Pendant le voyage de Jésus, fils de Marie عليهما السلام, il passa par un village où il trouva ses habitants morts sur la route et autour de leurs maisons. Il dit: 'Ils sont morts en étant mécontents. S'ils étaient morts dans un autre état, ils auraient été enterrés.' Ses compagnons dirent: 'Nous aimerions connaître leur histoire.' On leur dit de les appeler. Il les appela et un d'entre eux répondit: 'Me voici, ô Esprit de Dieu.' Il dit: 'Ô habitants du village, quel est votre état et quelle est votre histoire?' Ils répondirent: 'Nous étions en bonne santé et nous vivions dans l'aisance.' Il demanda: 'Qu'est-ce que l'aisance?' Ils répondirent: 'C'est un océan de feu avec des montagnes de feu, où nous n'avons pas atteint ce que nous espérions.' Il demanda: 'Qu'est-ce que l'amour de ce monde?' Ils dirent: 'C'est comme l'amour d'un enfant pour sa mère: il est joyeux quand elle s'approche de lui et triste quand elle s'en va.' Il demanda: 'Qu'avez-vous atteint de l'adoration des idoles?' Ils dirent: 'Quand ils nous ordonnaient, nous obéissions.' Il demanda: 'Comment avez-vous répondu à ma place?' Ils dirent: 'Parce qu'ils étaient contraints par des chaînes de feu, avec des anges sévères sur eux. Et moi, bien que je sois parmi eux, je n'étais pas comme eux. Mais quand le châtiment les a atteints, il m'a aussi atteint, et je suis suspendu par un fil de feu, craignant de tomber dans le feu.' Jésus عليه السلام dit à ses compagnons: 'Dormez sur les déchets et mangez du pain d'orge, c'est facile avec la paix de la religion.'
